The Diversity Affairs Office at P&S works closely with and supports the Black and Latino Student Organization (BALSO) which is committed to the recruitment and retention of qualified minority students, the nurturing of minority students through counseling and support mechanisms involving faculty and BALSO students, sponsorship of programs that expand awareness of health and health policy issues and community service.
