This is determined by lottery. Students group themselves into teams of 1 to 6 students per team. At a class lottery held in the spring, each team then picks one number out of a box, sight unseen. The teams with the best (i.e., lowest) lottery numbers have first chance at signing up for the Group (I-V) and Section (A or B) of their choice. Those with the higher (worse) numbers may find themselves closed out of a more popular section. There is no “best” rotation schedule. Advice is to schedule your preferred rotation in January.
